PENDAMPINGAN PEMBELAJARAN SISWA TUNAGRAHITA

This study aims to determine the implementation of mentoring carried out by teachers in the learning process and the obstacles experienced in its performance. This study uses qualitative research methods; this type of research is descriptive. They are collecting data using observations, interviews, and documents. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, display data, and conclusions. Based on the research results obtained: (a) the implementation of assistance in the learning process for developmentally disabled students consists of planning, implementing, and evaluating. (b) the obstacles that are often encountered by teachers when assisting are the limitations of teaching staff, as well as facilities and infrastructure in schools. Then the supporting factors are the participation of parents, attention from the government, available media, students, and class dynamics.
