HUBUNGAN ANTARA POLA ASUH OTORITER ORANG TUA DENGAN KEPRIBADIAN INTROVERT SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 3 KABUPATEN SORONG

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the authoritarian parenting pattern of parents on the introverted personality of students at SMP Negeri 3 Sorong Regency. Research method with quantitative approach. A sample of 45 people was used with purposive sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire that was confirmed to be valid and reliable. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by person product-moment correlation. The results showed a relationship between the authoritarian parenting style of the parents and the introverted personality of the students at SMP Negeri 3 Sorong Regency. Therefore, the authoritative parenting model can be a choice for parents to shape the character of introverted students
