DINAMIKA PSIKOLOGIS REMAJA DALAM MENGHADAPI HARAPAN ORANG TUA: STUDI KASUS REMAJA DENGAN PERNIKAHAN DINI DAN PUTUS SEKOLAH

This study aims to uncover the dynamics of inner turmoil experienced by a young woman who married young and dropped out of school due to an out-of-wedlock pregnancy, within the context of pressure from her parents. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study focused on one subject selected purposively. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the subject experienced strong emotional stress due to a lack of emotional attachment to her parents, especially since the loss of her father figure. Authoritarian parenting styles, closed communication, and the lack of space for adolescents to express themselves exacerbated the inner conflict experienced. Reflective counseling interventions showed that through a process of self-awareness and education on positive parenting, the subject began to build a commitment not to repeat painful parenting patterns and strived to form more empathetic family relationships.
