ANALISIS PENGARUH TIKTOK DI SMARTPHONE TERHADAP POLA ASUH ORANG TUA

This study aims to determine the influence of TikTok social media use on smartphones and parental parenting patterns on the development of interpersonal communication in children aged 12–15 years. In today's digital era, social media has become a part of everyday life, including for children. TikTok, as one of the most popular platforms, allows users to access various content that can influence behavior and communication patterns, both positively and negatively. This study used a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire distributed to 118 child respondents aged 12–15 years. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between TikTok social media use (X) and parental parenting patterns (Y) on children's interpersonal communication, with a significance value of 0.019 (<0.05). This means that both variables together contribute to the development of children's interpersonal communication. Therefore, active parental involvement in guiding children to use social media wisely is essential so that children can interact healthily and develop positive character in their social environment
