Abstrak
This research aimed to analyze the dimensions of the Peer Conformity scale based on Bandura's theory using the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) approaches. The study involved 90 students from a State Vocational High School (SMKN). The initial Peer Conformity scale consisted of 5 dimensions: Imitation (6 items), Adjustment (6 items), Trust (6 items), Agreement (6 items), and Obedience (6 items), totaling 30 statement items. The EFA results indicated the presence of three main dimensions: generality, level, and strength. After the EFA process, 6 out of 30 initial items were dropped because their factor loading values did not meet the threshold criteria (≥0.6). Consequently, only 24 items were retained. Based on the CFA results, the model was found to be not fit according to the established criteria (chi-square, TLI, CFI, SRMR, and RMSEA). This lack of fit was attributed to the sample size being less than 200. Overall, the EFA and CFA results indicate that the developed Peer Conformity scale validation in this study is less effective in helping to measure peer conformity in adolescents
