MINUMAN KERAS SEBAGAI FAKTOR DETERMINAN TINDAK KEJAHATAN (STUDI KASUS ALKOHOL MENDORONG KEJAHATAN SEKSUAL DI JALAN BANGAU II KOTA SORONG)

Cases of sexual violence involving perpetrators under the influence of alcohol have become a worrying phenomenon in the Jalan Bangau II area of ​​Sorong City. Acts of sexual abuse triggered by alcohol consumption are increasingly common, involving perpetrators from various social backgrounds and ages. This study aims to uncover the forms of sexual crimes that occur and analyze the triggering factors behind this deviant behavior. A sociological juridical approach was used in this study, combining legal and social aspects that develop in society. The results indicate that alcohol is a dominant factor in the perpetrator's loss of self-control, which then commits acts of sexual abuse against the victim. In addition to alcohol, there are other contributing factors, such as low levels of education, weak religious understanding, permissive environmental conditions, and the influence of social media. This study emphasizes the importance of consistent law enforcement and community-based prevention to prevent acts of sexual abuse from continuing to increase
