DAKWAH DAN ISU-ISU TERORISME

This study aims to explore the factors that cause the emergence of terrorist movements and describe how Islam views terrorist movements and how the role of da'wah in responding to terrorist movements This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method of literature analysis with reference to primary and secondary sources. The results of the study show that the factors that cause the emergence of terrorist movements are seen from internal and external factors within religion itself and are also influenced by individual factors from terrorists from a psychological perspective. The role of da'wah in dealing with terrorism can be applied in various approaches, namely the personal approach, the educational approach, the discussion approach and the offering approach. And the conclusion in the research is that the religious view of the existence of this terrorist movement refers more to the view of the MUI, which states that in terms of distinguishing between terrorism and jihad in aspects related to the nature, objectives and operations (actions) and the role of da'wah in addressing terrorism can be applied in various approaches, including a personal approach, educational approach, discussion approach and offering approach.
